Overview The FileNet Engineer will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining IBM FileNet P8 environments within a regulated financial services organisation. You will join a high-performing Agile delivery team governed by SAFe principles, ensuring seamless migrations, integrations, and workflow design that meet compliance and operational requirements. Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and maintain IBM FileNet P8 environments (Content Engine, Process Engine, Content Navigator). Deliver content and email migrations from legacy platforms into FileNet repositories. Design, build, and maintain workflows, document classes, and content routing. Execute and support email journaling and archiving solutions for compliance. Manage third-party integrations and dual-running environments. Support change execution, including validation, troubleshooting, and risk mitigation. Produce operational documentation, runbooks, and repeatable processes using JIRA and Confluence. Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity teams in a regulated environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience as a FileNet Engineer or similar ECM role. Strong technical knowledge of IBM FileNet P8 (Content Engine, Process Engine, Content Navigator). Proven track record in ECM migrations, integrations, and workflow design. Experience with email journaling and archiving solutions. Skilled in system configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and change management. Proficient in JIRA and Confluence with Agile/SAFe delivery experience. Familiarity with dual-running and legacy-to-target migrations.

Useful but Not Essential

IBM Datacap experience. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for ECM deployments. Understanding of records management and retention policies. Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerisation for FileNet lifecycle management.
