Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer (Servicing)

Location: Midlands Area (covering various sites across the Midlands)

Salary: £38,000 per annum + Door-to-Door Travel Allowance + On-Call Bonuses

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team, primarily focusing on servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems across the Midlands region. The successful candidate will ensure that all fire alarm systems are operating effectively, comply with safety regulations, and meet client expectations.

• Servicing, inspecting, and maintaining a wide range of fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system faults, carrying out necessary repairs and replacements.
• Conducting routine testing and ensuring systems comply with relevant legislation and standards.
• Preparing detailed service reports and documentation.
• Providing excellent customer service and technical support to clients.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participating in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs.
• Maintaining company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good condition.

• Proven experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., FIA qualifications, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Full UK driving license (essential).
• Knowledge of BS5839 standards and current fire safety legislation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to participate in on-call duties and travel across the Midlands.
