Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (DOE)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (45 hours per week)

A well-established client in the fire and security industry is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing team. This is a mobile role ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of installations and maintenance work across a range of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and service fire alarm systems in accordance with current standards

*

Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately

*

Work on a range of fire alarm systems

*

Provide professional customer service on-site and over the phone

*

Keep accurate records of work and equipment used

*

Participate in a shared on-call rota for emergency call-outs

Essential Requirements:

*

Proven experience in fire alarm system engineering

*

Strong understanding of installation standards

*

Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

*

Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Willingness to travel across Birmingham

Desirable:

*

Experience with smoke ventilation systems

*

Familiarity with major security brands and integration between systems

*

Industry certifications (FIA, ECS, CSCS, etc.)
