Are you a hands-on engineer with strong fire alarm installation and commissioning experience? We're recruiting for a growing fire & life safety systems provider who is looking to strengthen their delivery team with Fire Alarm Engineer to perform Installations across sites within the M25.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company making a real impact in fire safety—delivering small-to-medium scale projects that protect people, property, and businesses. Your Role:

As a Small Works Engineer, you'll be responsible for the

installation and commissioning

of fire alarm systems, working across both addressable and non-addressable platforms. You'll handle multiple small-scale projects and ensure work is completed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. ?

Key Responsibilities:

Install and commission small/medium fire alarm systems

Work with systems from a range of manufacturers

Review and interpret technical drawings and documentation

Deliver high-quality work that meets both technical and compliance standards

Provide professional, solutions-focused customer service

Troubleshoot issues and maintain strong client relationships

Keep detailed reports, timesheets, and job records

Communicate effectively with the office on progress or site issues

Maintain a clean and professional working environment on site

What We're Looking For:

Strong experience working with fire alarm systems

FIA Units 1, 2/3, and 5 (desirable)

Skilled in both installation and commissioning

Good understanding of electrical installation practices

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings

Professional and customer-focused approach
