Job Title: Fire & Security Systems Installation Engineer \n\nLocation: Midlands\nStarting Salary: Circa £35k-£40k\nType: Full-time | Permanent\nStart Date: ASAPInnotech Partners are collaborating with an established Contractor who specialise design, installation and maintenance services for electrical, heating, plumbing, fire and security systems. They are seeking an enthusiastic Lead Fire Alarm and Securtiy Systems Installation Engineer to join them on a permanent full time basis.\n\nThe standard hours are 40 hours a week Monday - Friday and overtime is plentiful if and when you would like to pick it up.\n\nBenefits\n\nStarting salary Circa £35,000 - £40,000\nHoliday - 20 days + 8 days Bank Holidays\nfuel card & Company Van\nOpportunity to earn overtime (1.5x on Saturdays)\nUniform & Tools provided\nProgression opportunities\nPension contribution\nFull training by a supportive friendly team.Role Duties \n\nInstallation of fire detection and security alarm systems, including emergency lighting, remote monitoring, intruder alarms, access controls, intercoms and nurse call systems\nTo maintain and provide ongoing reactive maintenance.\nSupport customers and wider company operations, sales, administration and operations where required\nObserve and adhere to company Health and Safety guidelines and contribute to a Health and Safety working environmentRequirements\n\nAny additional capabilities or basic programming knowledge relating to any of the above systems would be advantageous. Training and development can be offered in these areas\nSpecific product knowledge of some or all the following manufacturers is desired:\nGent Certification \nAdvanced Electronics, HAES, Kentec, Gent, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Airsense, Honeywell, Paxton, Control Soft, Videcon, Hikvision.\nA proven ability to trouble shoot, identify and suggest appropriate course of action, specifically related to issues and maintenance related to fire detection and alarm systems\nProven experience working in domestic and commercial environments\nCity and Guilds 236 parts 1&2 electrical installation would be advantageous, or time served equivalent\n17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification would be desirable but not essential\nClean, valid driving licence\nAdaptable, comfortable problem solving autonomously, and not having a daily routine\nRespect for health and safety of both themselves, their colleagues, and the customer\nFull UK driver's licence \n\nIf this role is of interest, please apply via the link and we will be in touch.
