*The Role* Working as a Fire Alarm Engineer, you’ll carry out routine maintenance, repairs and installation on Fire Alarms systems both Commercial and Domestic, ensuring the properties are safe and compliant in the Cardiff region.

*Your duties will include:*

· Install, maintain, and commission fire detection systems in line with BS 5839.

· Fault-find, test, and carry out remedial works on a wide range of systems.

· Complete accurate documentation and reports for all works undertaken.

· Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and health and safety standards.

· Provide excellent customer service, including on-site support and technical advice

· Liaise with clients, contractors, and other trades on-site to ensure smooth project delivery.

*You will also have:* · Proven experience in fire system installation and maintenance.

· Full UK driving licence.

· ECS/CSCS card or equivalent.

· FIA or equivalent fire alarm training certificates.

· IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant site qualifications.

· Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

· General electrical experience

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Multi skilled engineer with some plumbing experience would be beneficial not imperative.

*The Package*

· Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience

· Working Monday-Friday 45 hours per week, Door to Door Travel paid at normal time

· Opportunities for additional overtime paid at time and a half / double time

· Permanent contract

· Company van and fuel card and test equipment provided for business use

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
