We partner with customers to shape a better future and support their path to net zero or better facility operations.Role DetailsRole: Fire Alarm Small Works Engineer (Mobile London) – installation and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems on both new and existing installations. Experience in Fire Alarm installation and commissioning is essential.What You Will DoLead small works installation duties as part of a team, from survey to completion of small works tasks.Supervise installation activity including client and EMCOR specific requirements.Install fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with BS5839 Pt 1 2013 and BRE/LPS1014 installation rules.Undertake duties and responsibilities including relevant training and medicals for work in radiological and explosive controlled areas.Maintain van stock at an agreed level to enable works to be completed.Complete installation/modification paperwork and check colleagues paperwork for submission.Who You Will BeProven ability to install containment and cabling related to fire detection and alarm systems.Experience working in industrial environments.Proven ability to install complex networked addressable fire detection and alarm systems.17th/18th Edition Electrical qualification.Knowledge of Fire standards BS 5839 Pt 1 – 2013, BS 6266 Pt 1 – 2013, BS 7273 Standards.FIA standards Units 1 (Fire Detection Design) and Unit 4 (Installation and Testing).Equality and InclusionEMCOR UK embraces diversity and equality.
