Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join one of the country's leading Fire & Security specialists working around the Cambridgeshire area.

The role involves working as part of a team at various commercial sites across the region, servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Servicing and repairing multiple system types including Fire, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and DDA systems in accordance with current standards and Codes of Practice.
• Working within project time constraints and communicating potential risks to project delivery.
• Experience with network/IP-based products is preferred.
• FIA qualifications are beneficial but not essential; a full understanding of BS standards is required.
• Completing timesheets and relevant paperwork promptly.
• Participating in relevant training and ensuring all H&S requirements are met.

Experience required:

• Proven background in Intruder, CCTV, Fire Alarms, Access Control, Door Entry, and DDA systems.
• Network/IP product experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of system integration and industry standards is important.
• Good communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel and work away when necessary.

Salary and Benefits:

• Basic salary up to £40,000, depending on experience.
• Callouts 1 in 4/5, paid travel time, overtime.
