OverviewOur Wiltshire based client are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join their team. They work on a wide range of projects, including large-scale CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm, and Access Control systems across prestigious residential estates, historic properties, commercial developments, and public buildings—offering a diverse and rewarding workload.ResponsibilitiesInstall intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems both locally, around the neighbouring counties and slightly further as per specifications and sales conversions.Provide client demonstrations and explain system functions, including false alarm prevention.Perform routine and reactive maintenance across all installed systems.Accurately assess client needs and complete tasks to a high standard.Update site documentation and schematics as necessary.Log work progress and completion details via SIMPRO, ensuring client sign-off.Occasionally travel and stay overnight for project completion where required.What We're Looking ForProven experience in a multi-disciplined engineering role, with solid knowledge of fire and security systems.Strong communication skills and customer service experience.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.A full UK driving licence.A team-oriented attitude and a proactive work ethic.A willingness to learn and grow through structured internal and external training.What We OfferCompetitive salary plus paid overtime (x1.5 rate).Company vehicle (with private use option).Paid travel time (door-to-door).Allowance for overnight stays.High-quality tools, uniform, PPE, and state-of-the-art equipment.iPhone, laptop, trade and credit card.Structured training and ongoing professional development.Holiday allowance increases with service (up to 25 days).Refer-a-friend bonus scheme.Company pension.About Marble TalentAs engineering recruitment specialists, we pride ourselves on the ability to turn aspiring candidates at the beginning, middle or towards the end of their engineering careers into successful, professional engineers place at the right companies.
