As the business continues to grow year on year, they are now looking to expand their Fire & Smoke Safety Division with the appointment of an experienced Fire Damper Engineer.This is a key role carrying out statutory fire damper inspections and delivering remedial works to ensure buildings remain safe, compliant, and operational at all times.Working across a variety of commercial, healthcare, and public sector sites, you will be responsible for inspections in line with BS 9999, TR19, and SFG20 standards, alongside remedial tasks such as access panel installations, fusible link replacement, fault finding, full fire damper replacements, and fire stopping works.This role requires flexibility to work varied shift patterns, travel to sites across the UK, and occasionally stay away when required.Essential RequirementsProven, hands-on experience in fire damper testing and complianceAbility to fault find and carry out corrective worksStrong health & safety awareness and compliance mindsetProactive, reliable, and a strong team playerFull UK driving licenceDBS ClearanceDesirableRelevant qualifications in fire damper inspection or remedialsIOSH certificationCSCS, IPAF, PASMA, or similar certificationsWhat’s on Offer£35,000 - £38,000 per annum + attractive overtime ratesCompany van, fuel card, tools, and PPE providedOngoing training in remedials, replacements, and fire stoppingA clear progression path: PPM Engineer → Remedial Engineer → SupervisorOpportunities to work on high-profile projects across commercial, healthcare, and public sectorsCareer growth within a market-leading company that invests in its peopleHow to ApplyIf you are an experienced Fire Damper Engineer looking to take the next step in your career, please apply with your CV today.
