Overview


Alarm Communications Limited (ACL), a specialist division of Marlowe Fire & Security Group, install and maintain intelligent building systems for fire protection, security and building energy management. The role covers the South East London area and involves a varied workload across maintenance, reactive works, small works and projects for a portfolio of key accounts.


Responsibilities



  • Work as part of a small, dedicated key account support team alongside fellow Engineers and Apprentices

  • Complete works on long-standing, prestigious contracts with direct end-user relationships, maintaining professional workmanship

  • Install, commission and maintain networked fire and security systems to high standards with the support and training provided

  • Report to the Contract Manager for the area and liaise regularly with the Senior Engineer, Service Coordinator and Service Manager


Requirements



  • Experience with a range of products and manufacturers, with at least 2 years in Fire and Security engineering

  • Electrically competent; able to carry out safe isolations and maintain a safe working environment

  • Experience with installing, commissioning and maintaining systems

  • Customer-oriented, able to adapt and respond to clients in different situations

  • Good attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively

  • Desire to learn and develop skills to install and maintain systems to the highest standards
