Fire & Security Engineer - Maintenance

We are working with our client, a respected Fire & Security company, to recruit a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing service & maintenance team in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance and reactive servicing of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs to ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant
  • Work across commercial, industrial, and residential sites in Edinburgh and surrounding areas
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Complete all service reports and ensure compliance with relevant standards (BS5839, BS5266, etc.)

About You

  • Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer (maintenance/service bias)
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
