The Role

As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will work as part of a dedicated installation team, covering London and the South East. Your work will involve installing:

  • Fire detection equipment
  • Intruder alarms
  • CCTV systems
  • Access control systems

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Installation of both intruder alarm and fire detection systems
  • IP & analogue CCTV systems, with basic networking skills
  • Installation of access control/door entry systems
  • DualCom monitoring
  • Knowledge of other communication devices
  • Conventional & wireless intruder alarm systems
  • Familiarity with major brands of control panels & app-based systems
  • Understanding of NSI codes of practice (installation, commissioning, maintenance)

About You

  • Experienced Fire and Security Installation Engineer
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated with good time-management abilities
  • Based within easy reach of South London or surrounding counties
  • Full, manual UK driving licence
  • Willing to undertake ongoing training and development

Additional Information

  • Standard hours: 7.75 onsite Monday to Friday (start time up to 8:30am)
  • Work may involve ladders and working at height
  • Role requires travel to various sites across the region
