OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You will ensure effective delivery of PPM, reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire Extinguishers and associated equipment and products to relevant legislative and qualitative standards.Maintain appropriate documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.Participate in service testing and inspection to relevant standards/codes, including fault-finding techniques.Carry out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire & Security Systems industry.Attend and actively participate in company-initiated training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.Ensure all work is performed to high levels of Health and Safety requirements.Qualifications and SkillsExperience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS, and familiarity with Health and Safety Legislation, preferably in engineering.Excellent communication skills and basic literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to share technical and problem-solving knowledge with colleagues, take initiative, and work with little supervision. #J-18808-Ljbffr
