Overview

Fleet Engineer / regional fleet manager opportunity working remotely. This role focuses on managing the service network and aftermarket processes in the truck, trailer, commercial vehicle, fleet, logistics, telematics and haulage sectors for a globally recognizable premium brand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the service network and aftermarket processes for trucks, trailers, and related commercial vehicles.
  • Work from home and manage your own diary; coordinate with service partners (commercial vehicle, truck and trailer dealerships, service centres).
  • Act as the relationship owner with service partners and ensure alignment with brand standards and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with a multinational, OEM brand that leads in telematics and new technology in the commercial vehicle sector.
  • Operate in a senior capacity suitable for a fleet manager, aftermarket manager, service network manager or fleet engineer with the ability to pivot from related sectors.
  • Be prepared to pivot from the HGV/commercial vehicle industry and/or related sectors (construction plant, agricultural equipment) to this role.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience in the truck, trailer, commercial vehicle, fleet, logistics, telematics and haulage/transport sectors.
  • Willingness to be trained or pivot into this role from related industries.
  • Highly professional with a drive to work for a globally recognizable premium brand.
  • Ability to work closely with service partners and manage those relationships effectively.

Location & Availability

This Fleet Engineer role is home-based, covering the Midlands and South. Flexible on location; suitable base locations include Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, West Midlands, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, and the East Midlands.
