We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join as a Founding Product Engineer at an early-stage fintech. You will work on building an instant, transparent, and affordable payments network. This role is perfect for a Software Engineer who thrives in a start-up environment, loves coding, and wants to influence architecture and product direction from day one.
Salary: Up to £70,000 Equity: 1%+ Location: London (near Kings Cross) 5 days per week
What youll do: Work directly with leadership to design, build, and launch the core platform using C#, .NET, TypeScript, and React.
Write high-quality, maintainable code daily as a hands-on Software Engineer.
Build backend APIs, front-end web apps, and systems integrations using C# and .NET, with React and TypeScript on the front end.
Leverage AI tools to design, debug, and ship features faster, boosting productivity.
Influence architectural decisions, including enterprise patterns such as microservices, DDD, and CQRS.
Who you are: Experienced in C#, .NET,with 3+ years experience as a Software Engineer.
Comfortable working across the full stack and adapting to new technologies quickly. Its preferred that candidates have worked with TypeScript / React however this role is Backend leaning. .NET Software Engineers with limited Frontend exposure or different frameworks are encouraged to apply.
Ambitious and highly driven, with an interest in start-up growth and potential leadership opportunities.
Ideally, a background in fintech or payments and strong problem-solving skills.
