FPGA Firmware Engineer

Location: Gloucestershire, UK (On-site)

A global Defence & Security company are looking for multiple FPGA Firmware Engineers to join their engineering team developing secure FPGA systems for critical data applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize FPGA firmware (VHDL) for custom platforms
• Integrate high-bandwidth IP blocks and embedded logic
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams on end-to-end solutions
• Mentor juniors and contribute to technical leadership

Core Skills

• Strong VHDL expertise
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (DDR, Ethernet etc.)

Bonus Skills

• Experience with secure or regulated systems
• Task planning & team leadership
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance
