What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working directly with clients to gather requirements, advise on solutions, and explain technical decisions.
  • Contributing to planning, estimation, and technical design.
  • Ensuring best practices in performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and mentoring others when needed.
  • Splitting time across bespoke client projects and the in-house product.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot, microservices).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of APIs, databases (SQL, Postgres, MySQL), and scalable system design.
  • Clear and confident communication skills for a client-facing role.
  • Background in consulting or agency environments is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Extras

  • Experience with Vue (one client uses it).
  • Familiarity with TDD/BDD, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of security practices (Spring Security, OAuth2, OWASP).
  • Experience with Kafka, ELK stack, or NoSQL databases.
  • Interest in performance testing, penetration testing, or container orchestration.
