OverviewOmega are supporting well-established building services contractor in Wakefield in their search for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer. This door-to-door role will install, service, maintenance, and repair commercial gas systems and appliances across a variety of sites.ResponsibilitiesCarry out installation, servicing, and breakdown repairs on commercial gas appliances and systems (e.g., boilers, heaters, burners, pipework).Diagnose faults, carry out testing and commissioning of gas systems, and complete remedial works as required.Ensure all work is compliant with current gas safety regulations and industry standards.Conduct routine PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on commercial premises.Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.Complete job reports, gas safety certificates, and service documentation accurately.Work closely with other engineers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.Adhere to all company health & safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.Qualifications & Requirements – Commercial Gas EngineerCurrent and valid Commercial Gas Qualifications.Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.Valid CSCS card or equivalent.Full UK driving licence.Strong understanding of gas safety regulations, installation standards, and industry best practices.NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing & Heating.What we can offer – Commercial Gas EngineerCompany van, fuel card, and tools provided.Uniform, PPE, and ongoing training support.Company pension scheme.Opportunities for progression in a growing business.Paid door to door.Overtime paid as soon as you go over 40 hours in a week.For more information on this role, please contact Michael Farrell on 01453 829768 or send a copy of your CV to Michael.farrell@omegaresource.co.ukCandidates who are currently a Commercial Gas Engineer or a Gas Engineer may be suitable for this position.For details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website www.omegaresource.co.uk #J-18808-Ljbffr
