We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and light welding equipment to perform tasks effectively. Have a good understanding of plumbing. Perform assembly tasks related to gas fittings and appliances. Execute heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on-site.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and light welding equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience in plumbing is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of equipment as needed.
