Gas Engineer

To provide high-quality gas engineering services including installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances across a portfolio of commercial and/or domestic sites. The Gas Engineer will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Gas Safe regulations and company standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on gas appliances, heating systems, and associated equipment. * Conduct safety inspections and testing in accordance with current gas regulations. * Install, commission, and decommission gas appliances and systems. * Respond to emergency callouts and provide troubleshooting support to ensure minimal downtime for clients. * Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including safety certificates and job reports. * Liaise with site contacts, facilities managers, and other engineers to coordinate work effectively. * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and company policies at all times. * Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices.
*Requirements: Essential:*
* Valid ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, and other relevant modules. * Current Gas Safe registration. * Proven experience in gas engineering within a facilities management or service environment. * Strong understanding of health and safety practices. * Full UK driving licence. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
*Desirable:*
* Commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1). * Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS). * Previous experience working on commercial or public sector contracts. * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.

Pay: £18.00-£24.00 per hour
