Job Opportunity: Domestic Gas Engineer (North East)Location: DH, DL, TS, NE & SR postcodesSector: Social Housing / Housing AssociationPosition: Qualified Domestic Gas EngineerExample Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the North East. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.Key Responsibilities:Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)Fault finding and repairs on central heating systemsDeliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent careAdhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH recordsRequirements:A minimum of 2 years experience with gas qualificationsExtensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skillsIn-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1Full UK driving licenceNo unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)Salary & Benefits:42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced ratesVan, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA providedSalary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 per year after probationOut-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in 4) paid £600 per week during winter (October to March) and £400 per week in summer (April to September) guaranteeing an additional £7,000 per year on top of salaryOTE £45,000+ per annum25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension schemeTo apply for this role, please submit an up-to-date CV, and one of our team members will be in touch.Keywords: Gas, Heating, Engineer, Service, Maintenance, Repair, BreakdownTPBN1_UKTJ #J-18808-Ljbffr
