Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

We are seeking an experienced domestic plumbing/heating/gas engineer to join our growing installation, service and breakdown team.

The successful candidate will be carrying out installation, maintenance, servicing and repairs to full heating systems including under floor heating (under floor heating training will be provided if required) and cylinders and air source heat pumps (additional training will be provided if required).

*Candidate will need:*

1. Full domestic gas qualifications in boilers/water heaters/fires/pipe work

2. Experience in servicing/maintenance/repairs of boilers, fires, cylinders and heating systems

3. Experience in the installation of full heating systems

4. Full clean driving licence

*Work requirements:*

1. Must be able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team

2. Must have a clear understanding of diagnostics for domestic heating/hot water systems and associated controls

3. Must be able to carry out boiler and plumbing repairs

4. High standard of customer service is essential

We will supply a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform and tablet.

The position offers 28 days holiday a year (inc. bank holidays)

Salary range: circa £45000 pa depending on experience and qualifications

Full-time hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with some weekend work during busy periods. Flexibility can also be offered.
