Our client is a high growth global payment platform offering a breadth of unique merchant services to some of the world’s most prestigious and well known brands.

Role Overview

The Gateway Solutions Engineer is a key role within the team, responsible for defining and validating Digital requirements surrounding payments projects.

The focus will be on progressing Digital Gateway & e-commerce platforms, and enhancing existing solutions in the digital wallet and alternative payments arena. You will be involved in the full life cycle of our payment solutions, this will include analysis of new features, testing and supporting new client integrations. Responsibilities may evolve as the company adapts to the latest market demands.

Responsibilities

  • Provide E2E guidance and technical direction for projects.
  • Lead E2E testing sign off process and pilot handover.
  • Oversee UAT environments and work with Dev and Service Management teams to ensure seamless E2E flow.
  • Review specifications and produce associated work packages.
  • Maintain E2E solution diagrams/flows.
  • Continuously analyse and improve E2E process.
  • Liaise closely with Project Managers, Development and Pilot teams.
  • Provide integration support to new clients.

  • Good knowledge of QA and E2E standards, processes tools and methodologies.
  • Willingness to seek out and learn from more senior team members.

What you will need to bring

  • Ability to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities related to keeping pace with shifting market requirements.
  • Understanding of digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.).
  • Understanding of Mobile InApp / on device payments.
  • Understanding of the payments ecosystem including eCommerce payments.
