Geotechnical Engineer – Newcastle, Permanent

Salary: £28,000 to £36,000 per annum

My client is a leading geotechnical and civil design engineering firm based in Newcastle. They are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join their diverse and experienced projects team and to work on a variety of projects across the UK and mainland Europe. The successful candidate will have opportunities to grow into a senior position, with a company that promotes from within and supports chartership.

Responsibilities

• Work on geotechnical and civil design projects across the UK and mainland Europe.
• Collaborate with experienced designers to deliver project outcomes.
• Contribute to project delivery and quality assurance as part of the team.
• Assist with programme milestones and client liaison as required.

Qualifications

• Geology degree, or another relevant degree.
• Ground investigation and report writing experience.
• Commutable distance from Newcastle site.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
