Geotechnical Engineer - Hertfordshire

We’re working with a well-established engineering consultancy who are looking to grow their team with a Geotechnical Engineer. This is a great opportunity for someone with up to 5 years’ experience or strong placement experience to take on early responsibility and develop their career in a supportive, professional environment.

The role will involve:

Site supervision of ground investigations

Report writing & geotechnical analysis

Scoping and pricing new work

Liaising directly with clients

Progression towards Chartership with full training and mentoring

What we’re looking for:

✔️ Degree (BSc/MSc) in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Applied Geology, or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus

✔️ 0–5 years’ experience (placement experience considered)

✔️ Strong communication skills and self-motivation

✔️ Curiosity, problem-solving ability, and eagerness to learn
