OverviewBinnies, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the Water Services Major Projects team based in London, Reading, Bradford on Avon and Redhill. The team consults, delivers and manages Critical Human Infrastructure projects in the Water sector. The role is aimed at graduates who are motivated to gain their professional qualification within a few years. Successful applicants will be based in our offices and work closely with our local Engineering team across the local area, with potential nationwide travel to Client offices and project sites where required.Salary: £29,000Location: London, Reading, Bradford on Avon and RedhillContract Type: Full Time PermanentClosing Date: 30/11/2025Responsibilities, qualifications and benefits are detailed below.ResponsibilitiesDeliver packages of work within budget and work schedule to meet the Client’s requirementsUnderstand project scope and identify contractual changeUnderstand the customer’s basic and performance requirementsUndertake feasibility assessments, optioneering, outline and detailed designBalance the workload of multiple projectsProvide clear and concise deliverables appropriate for the intended audienceCooperate with the Engineering Manager, Project Manager and Regional Delivery DirectorAttributes / QualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering from a university accredited by the ICEGood grades at A-Levels in STEM subjects and/or GeographyAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary team of professionalsMotivated to work on water projectsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under time pressure and balance multiple prioritiesAbility to work as part of a multi-disciplinary high-performing teamCreative and practical thinkingAbility to design, plan and organise tasksGood problem solving skills and a desire to find solutionsProactive and methodical approach to problem solvingExcellent attention to detailA high level of computer literacy – knowledge and ability to use AutoCad and GIS would be advantageousBe driven to develop and improve technical skills and advance your careerWhy Join UsWould you like to work in a business where you feel empowered to grow?
