You will join a team of experienced engineers designing the electrical and mechanical aspects of buildings in a sustainable way.They are currently recruiting for Graduate Mechanical or Graduate Electrical Engineers to join their building services design team. This role offers excellent progression as you will join a graduate scheme with a structured pathway. You will receive support to become a member of the CIBSE, IET, IMechE or EI and eventually to become a chartered engineer.Role and ResponsibilitiesBuilding services engineering design including mechanical and electrical engineering and building physicsWorking alongside senior design engineers to develop your mechanical and electrical design skillsAdvising clients on how to reduce energy use through engineering design and specificationWorking with design teams including architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and specialist consultantsAdvising on building services aspects of BREEAM and Code for Sustainable HomesComputer thermal modelling of buildings to assess energy useSite visits to construction sites to inspect building services installationsAdvising on building-integrated renewable energyExperience and QualificationsEducated to degree level in any engineering discipline – for example physics, mechanical or electrical engineering, building services engineering or environmental engineering.An appreciation of sustainability, renewable energy technologies, thermodynamics and energy systems.You must be interested in the built environment and have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.You will need to adapt to new situations quickly and be willing to contribute as an active design team member.A full driving licence is desirable.Unfortunately, the facility does not exist for this employer to provide working VISA’s and or sponsorship to work in the UK #J-18808-Ljbffr
