Graduate Electrical Engineer – Energy Systems & Infrastructure

We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer, recently graduated from a UK university, to join us via our Graduate Worldwide Programme. You’ll contribute to the design and delivery of innovative energy and electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
We’re expanding our Electrical Engineering team with a graduate hire through our Graduate Worldwide Programme. You will:
• ️ Support the design of electrical systems, power distribution, and energy solutions for complex infrastructure and building projects
• Contribute to the delivery of sustainable, resilient, and compliant electrical designs
• Apply engineering principles and innovation to solve real-world challenges in power, lighting, communications, and control systems
• Assist with documentation for bids, tenders, and project delivery
• Help ensure timely, high-quality delivery within scope and budget
• Promote design compliance with international standards, health & safety, and environmental legislation
The main location for the roles is Madrid, but if a candidate is particularly interested in being based in Seville, we’re open to that as well.
Spanish is not required for these roles, all tasks can be carried out in English. If they’re interested, we can offer Spanish classes, completely optional.
What You Bring
Must-Haves:
A minimum 2:1 degree (BEng or MEng) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Foundational knowledge of power systems, building services, or control systems
Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, MATLAB, or ETAP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Motivation to work towards Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
Understanding of relevant Codes of Practice, European electrical standards, and Health & Safety regulations
Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with clients and colleagues
Full international mobility and willingness to relocate to Madrid or Seville (or Barcelona)
️ Internship or placement experience in the electrical/energy sector, ideally with experience in medium and high voltage for lines and substations or from Instrumentation & Control.
️ A strong interest in energy transition, smart infrastructure, or digital design tools
️ Ambition, curiosity, and a proactive approach to learning and development
Work on innovative and meaningful engineering projects across Spain and internationally
