Please apply as soon as possible, as the advert may close once we have sufficient applicants.Your RoleWe are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our 2026 Graduate Programme, based in Newcastle.As part of our collaborative design team focused on delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, and hydraulic systems, you will contribute to the design and delivery of complex engineering projects. Typical responsibilities include pump hydraulics, valve selection, piping systems, and related equipment. You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from front-end engineering design through detailed design, installation, and construction support.Our project portfolio spans the UK, with a strong focus on serving United Utilities frameworks.We know our ongoing success depends on your development. Each graduate is allocated a chartered engineer as a mentor to support you in progressing toward professional registration.About YouWe value potential over past experience. You will hold (or be on track for) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Design, or a closely related discipline.
