At Bending Spoons, we’re striving to build one of the all-time great companies. A company that serves a huge number of customers, where team members grow to their full potential, and that functions at unparalleled levels of effectiveness and efficiency. We acquire digital businesses and leverage our platform—spanning expertise, technologies, data, brand, talents, and culture—to create value and invest in scaling our platform and new acquisitions.

For a talented, driven, and collaborative individual, working at Bending Spoons is an opportunity to learn, make an impact, and progress their career at an exceptionally high rate. That’s our promise to such a candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Master your toolkit. Work across diverse tech stacks, refine your ability to choose the right tools for every challenge. From monolithic to microservices architectures, gRPC to REST APIs, Kubernetes to Docker, Python to Rust—you’ll demonstrate that true expertise is about understanding purpose to unleash potential.
  • Build stuff that matters. You’ll have autonomy and take ownership from ideation to execution. Build software from the ground up and see how your code evolves into a product used at scale.
  • Simplify relentlessly. Turn complexity into simplicity, optimize CI/CD pipelines, write maintainable code, and craft minimalist architectures to power scalable, future-proof solutions.

What we look for

  • Reasoning ability. Solve complex problems from first principles, structure ideas sharply, resist biases, and focus on details that matter.
  • Drive. Ambitious, with initiative, effort, and tenacity that match the level of ambition; hold yourself to a high bar.
  • Team spirit. Support the best idea, be reliable and transparent, and contribute to the team’s success.
  • Proficiency in English. Read, write, and speak proficiently in English.

What we offer

  • Incredibly talented, entrepreneurial teams. Small, autonomous teams working on impactful projects.
  • Grow rapidly. We hire individuals with high potential and place them to thrive, with opportunities to contribute to major projects.
  • Competitive pay and equity. Salary ranges and equity opportunities are provided; relocation tax benefits may apply in some cases.
  • All. These. Benefits. Flexible hours, remote work options, learning support, top-tier health insurance, relocation assistance, parental support, and annual retreats.
