Are you a Grid Engineer, Power Systems Engineer or HV Electrical Design Engineer? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global renewables specialist, working on large utility scale Solar / Wind projects, and playing a key role within the EPC team behind site design and all project phases.

The company are an engineering, procurement & construction specialist within the Renewables sector, with a presence across the world. With major Solar farm developments across the UK, my client is looking for a Grid Engineer to join the team.

In this role you will be within a small multi-skilled EPC team, where you will play a vital part in all of the project phases until hand over to O&M of the site. You will be managing the project execution, grid connections, capacity / feasibility and grid application process. Responsibilities

• Work within a small, multi-disciplinary EPC team to support all project phases from design through hand over to operations and maintenance.
• Manage project execution activities, grid connections, capacity/feasibility studies, and the grid application process.
• Contribute to site design and ensure alignment with utility requirements and project timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, procurement and construction functions to deliver grid integration on large utility-scale Solar/Wind projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience as a Grid Engineer, Power Systems Engineer, or HV Electrical Design Engineer are suitable.
• Experience with grid connections, feasibility studies, and grid application processes is desirable.
• Background in renewables or utility-scale projects is advantageous.

Benefits & Location

Salary £45,000 - £60,000 plus Bonus, Car Allowance, Healthcare, Generous Holidays, Pension. Hybrid office-based role with locations including Reading, Swindon, Oxford, Bristol, London, Crawley, Southampton, Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
