Head of Corporate (Solicitor) | Boutique Mayfair Firm | London | £90k – £100k |Hybrid office/WFH

A highly regarded boutique Mayfair firm is seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Associate or Salaried Partner (7+ PQE) to step into the role of Head of the Corporate Practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a growing department within a prestigious practice that boasts an impressive client base of high-profile and legendary names.

You’ll inherit an established client base and have the platform to shape and develop the department mid- to long-term with genuine scope for equity partnership on successful performance.

The role:

• Leading and growing the Corporate as Head of Department
• Managing a steady flow of high-quality work from strong referrer networks
• Handling a broad mix of corporate matters including:
• M&A transactions (typically £5m–£20m, plus smaller and larger deals)
• Disposals and de-mergers
• Corporate restructures and joint ventures
• Drafting T&Cs and ROE filings
• Preparing legal opinions
• Exposure to offshore structures would be highly advantageous
• Playing an active role in business development and expanding the Practice client base

Your expertise:

• Circa 7+ years PQE (or equivalent) in corporate law (relative to the above work)
• Strong track record in managing corporate transactions and advisory work
• Confident in building and developing long-term client relationships
• Energetic, ambitious, and a natural go-getter with a hunger to succeed
• Previous experience with corporate structures, ideally including offshore work
• Keen to establish and grow a department within a prestigious Mayfair practice.
• Ability to work autonomously dealing with excellent clients
