*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties. * Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently and safely. * Utilise welding techniques for system installations and repairs as needed. * Employ hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to heating systems. * Perform plumbing tasks associated with heating installations and repairs. * Assemble components of heating systems accurately and efficiently. * Handle heavy lifting of equipment and materials as required during installations or repairs. * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the HVAC industry for at least 5 years. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. * Proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly techniques. * Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. * Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties. * A valid UK driving licence is advantageous for transportation of equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
