Ideally, you will be based in or around Edinburgh and will occasionally have the opportunity to travel across other sites within the estate.What you will be doing?Attend and carry out planned/reactive/additional works across the contract’s estate.Undertake fault finding on LTHW pressure heating water systems, critical systems, and equipment.Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, commissioning, and testing in accordance with published procedures, completing all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.Use of all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works, ensuring full compliance with the companies’ guidelines and controls e.g. Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, and Hazardous SubstancesAttend all jobs issued which may include non-mechanical jobs for which you have the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake.Undertake all tasks as directed by supervisors or other line management and jobs issued by the Helpdesk.Attend Tool-Box-Talks, training and meetings as directed by managementAbout YouFM and construction experience in public buildings (advantageous)Industry recognised Mechanical/Engineering apprenticeship, C&G, Scotvec (SVQ3), or equivalentAbility to read and interoperate engineering drawings and building plansExperience with mobile CAFM systemsFull driving licence, due to travel requirementsExcellent Customer Service skillsGood Written/verbal communication SkillsAdaptable and flexible approach to work requirementsDesire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values and cultureThis role includes a DS Level 1 check therefore ability to pass is essential.As well as working core hours you will be required to partake in the call out rota.All work must be done to current legislative and best industry standards.How To ApplyIf you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest!We are an equal opportunities employer and rely on a diverse workforce with a broad range of knowledge, skills, and backgrounds to deliver our goals.
