OverviewHGV Drainage Engineer role at Lanes GroupLocation: BristolHours: 50 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.Salary: £36,400-£44,200 per annum (depending on experience and tickets). Overtime paid at X1.5 on top of base salary.Role summary: Working on a variety of reactive contracts, you will be driving our gully wagons, working closely with an operative to clean along the highways. This role can be physically demanding as you will be required to cover a lot of ground on foot as well as working in restrictive spaces. Use of a tablet is also a requirement of the role; therefore, you will need to have knowledge of using them.ResponsibilitiesOperate high specification jetting and vacuumation units as part of a two-person team.Carry out remote CCTV investigations where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.Liaise with customers.Update electronic records.Raise safety issues as needed and ensure they are reported.Vehicle and jetting equipment checks.Experience and QualificationsHGV Class 2 driving license is essential (no more than 6 points).Excellent listening and communication skills.Team player.Competent in IT and accurate data entry.CPC Licence is desirable.What You Will Get In ReturnOvertime paid at time and a half.Full training provided.Pension.Death in service.Holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays.Full PPE provided.Opportunity for progression.This position is open to Internal and External candidates.
