*Job Vacancy: Drainage Engineer (HGV Class 2 Required) – £17/hour *

*Hours:* Full-time – Flexibility required, including regular night work
Drain Doctor North East is looking for a *reliable, hard-working Drainage Engineer with a valid HGV Class 2 licence* to join our growing team working across a range of commercial and domestic drainage contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate HGV tankers for drain cleaning, jetting, and waste removal
* Carry out drainage maintenance, repairs, and unblocking work
* Support van-based drainage teams when required
* Complete all necessary job documentation and communicate effectively with clients
* Work night shifts regularly and adapt to changing schedules as needed
✅ Requirements:
* Valid *HGV Class 2 licence (Category C)*
* Previous experience in drainage or similar industry preferred
* Flexible attitude to working hours (nights, weekends, etc.)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
