Based at Sunbury but will need to travel to London sites from time to time.
This will be a Monday to Friday role Working from 0800 - 1700 flexibility to finish times.
To provide and efficient control of work service, supporting Reactive break downs and fault finding on the critical systems on site. , moves and churn and operational activities across the ICBT portfolio for BP Sunbury. Support with identifying and managing the fgas systems alongside the compliance manager.
The role will provide support in the coordination, planning and monitoring of sub-contract works including monitoring, auditing, and enforcement of the Control of Work requirements. The role is responsible for the safe execution, agreed quality and timely completion of sub-contract work and to ensure that the Client & JLL requirements are adhered to at all times. While ensuring all Logbooks and Compliance is kept up to date and all services and ppms are correctly completed
Key objectives of the role:
1.Host, oversee and work with visiting contractors, both project related and in support of the operational team activities. 2.Manage work delivery at client premises, ensuring agreed quality objectives and timely project completion. 3.In depth faut finding and solutioning of system break downs and repairs in a timely manner. 4.Support the regional Leads with identifying risks to assets and systems end of management and repairs to support critical systems. 5.Manage safe execution of work to ensure adherence to the safe systems of work. 6.Carry out and meet SLAs and PPMs set by the contract. 7.Look to innovate and improve on best practices and support JLL growth by developing skill sets and learning new processes. 8.Develop and share ideals and knowledge. 9.Ensure completion of all reactive Helpdesk Requests ensuring closing and completion in line with SLA's 10.Participate in a on call rota to support out of hours emergencies. 11.Support the Client Projects / JLL Projects and Operational teams by coordinating activity and advising limitations. 12.Develop and maintain consistent, professional and effective communication with project managers, contractors, consultants, customers and client representatives. 13.Provide suitable Health & Safety information to contractors including client protocols & JLL EHS requirements, local procedures, welfare facilities. 14.Issue and clearance of Permits to Work as required within there discipline 15.Carry out and document inspections of work equipment within competency. 16.Undertake proportionate monitoring of contractors and equipment to ensure that method statements and risk assessments, are being adhered to and high standards of work is maintained 17.Carry out and document workplace inspections to JLL and Client requirements. 18.Take appropriate action where sub-standard performance has been identified. 19.Coordinate with FM infrastructure teams to facilitate isolations, reconnections and the formal handover of completed works. 20.Ensure that refresher training is undertaken for safety critical job specific requirements at regular intervals. 21.Support in the training and development of all technical training requirements, including competency training, critical services training and scenario training exercises. 22.Proactively seek innovation in all areas of service provision, in pursuit of continuous improvement 23.Accountable to their immediate Manager for ensuring all service partners operate in compliance with JLL & BP Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures and with local, or European EHS legal requirements. 24.Bring to the immediate attention of Site Manager any critical incident or problem that could affect the ability of the JLL Team to meet their contractual obligations or BP's expectations. 25.Support the Supervisors and Other duties as assigned 26.Aid and help the technical team add resilience with local and skill sets to aid the account.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 1.Building Services Knowledge 2.HVAC Knowledge 3.Controls ideally Trend understanding 4.Facility knowledge 5.HSE Knowledge 6.City & Guilds or equivalent in an, FGAS ,Catering, Electrical minimal required standard Construction or related discipline 7.SMSTMS / IOSH / NEBOSH certification desirable 8.supervisory experience of contractors for both remedial service and maintenance, 9.Experienced Authorised Person and competent operator of Permit to Work systems 10.Computer literate, familiar with MS Office Applications, including Microsoft Project and capable of becoming competent user of bespoke databases 11.Experience of having worked in a similar role within a large diverse organisation and have a proven track record of success in delivering and monitoring EHS activities 12.Excellent knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental issues, with the ability to interpret relevant policy and legislation, and implement this across all working practices. 13.Ideally, experience of working in a continuous improvement culture. 14.Minimum of 5 yrs experience with a Recognised Apprenticeship 15.BMS Controls Experience / HVAC Experience 16.Understanding not limited to complex systems and understanding principles of building automation and plant operations. 17.Read system drawings, fault finding on relays, PCBs, closed water systems. Pipe work specification.
