About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time HVAC Mobile Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, along with proficiency in FG CAT1 and F-Gas regulations. This role requires a dedicated professional who can provide top-notch service to clients while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
The main purpose of this role is to work on service and maintenance of a variety of HVAC equipment from Chillers AHU's, Extraction systems, Split AC units to walk in cold rooms for offices, retail, hospitality and national buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC systems, including but not limited to:
Large Chiller works
Air Handling Units
Central air conditioning units
Heat pumps
Furnaces
Boilers
Ductwork
Ventilation systems
Refrigeration units
Also:
Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including compressors, motors, and electrical controls
Install and configure new HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Ensure compliance with FG CAT1 and F-Gas regulations during all installation, maintenance, and repair activities
Conduct refrigerant leak detection, recovery, and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and inventory usage
Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding HVAC system upgrades, energy efficiency improvements, and cost-saving measures
Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction
Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements through ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as an HVAC technician or engineer
Valid FG CAT1 certification
F-Gas certification and thorough understanding of F-Gas regulations
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
