Due to continued expansion, were looking for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join our team and lead this division of the business.The RoleInstall, service, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems (including splits/VRV/VRF, ventilation, heat pumps, cold rooms and associated controls). Youll complete PPM and reactive tasks, diagnose faults, and produce accurate job and compliance paperwork while providing excellent customer service on site.Key ResponsibilitiesPPM, reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on HVAC/Refrigeration systemsInstallation and commissioning of A/C and refrigeration equipmentCompleting service sheets, risk assessments and compliance documentationLiaising with clients/site teams; upholding H&S and company proceduresParticipating in the out-of-hours/call-out rota (paid)Team leader.Requirements (Essential)5+ years commercial HVAC/Refrigeration experience(or demonstrable equivalent competence)F-Gas Category 1 certificationNVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)Strong electrical diagnostics and controls experienceFull, valid driving licence (able to drive a company van)Able to meet the roles travel and on-site demands (reasonable adjustments considered)Experience in team managementRight to work in the UKDesirableGas Safe certificationCSCS cardIPAF / PASMAExperience on education and wider commercial estatesSafeguarding & VettingThis role may involve attendance at schools and other regulated sites. Appointment will therefore be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS (child workforce) where required by the site, identity and right-to-work checks, and references.
