My client is an established, well-known company within the hydraulic industry. With over 50 years trading history they specialise in providing a multi service model to their clients across the hydraulic sector – being able to design, manufacture, service and install hydraulic systems. Due to growth, they are looking to add a driven a Hydraulic Field Service Engineer to their successful engineering team.

As a Hydraulic Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of hydraulic systems across various environments. This is a field based, customer facing, hands on role, with plenty of problem solving.\n\nHydraulic Field Service Engineer \n\nCommutable to Leeds \n\n£30,250 - £38,850 DOE –, Overtime, Van, Pension, mobile. (Salary increases after probation)\n\nExtensive career progression.\n\nMonday to Friday with occasional weekend work.\n\nYour responsibilities will include but not be limited to: \n\nProvide feedback to engineering teams for system improvements.\nDiagnose and repair hydraulic faults.\nAssemble and service hydraulic hoses, pumps, valves and cylinders.\nProvide technical support to clients to explain issues, solutions and further preventative measures.\nEnsure all documentation is complete correctly.\nMaintain van – ensuring stock levels are high and it is presentable/clean.\nConduct system tests to ensure HSE and performance levels are hit.\nTo apply you MUST have or hold: \n\nFull understanding of HSE.\nNVQ Level 3 – Mechanical Engineering or similar field.\nKnowledge of hydraulic systems, fluid mechanics and basic electrical components.\nStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.\nA desire to learn.\nStrong communications skills both written and verbally.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nAble to troubleshoot and repair systems and components.\nLiaise professionally with clients and colleagues of all levels.\nFull UK Driving licence.\nThis opportunity is for a Hydraulic field based Engineer who is looking to take up their next challenge.
