Hydrogen Design Engineer . You will support the Engineering Manager in delivering safe, efficient, and innovative hydrogen network projects. You will work closely with design consultants and project teams, providing technical expertise and ensuring designs meet required standards. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will apply your technical knowledge to real-world challenges, whether it's designing hydrogen-ready pipelines, carrying out network modelling, or producing high-quality technical reports. You will also be a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, helping to bridge technical understanding across the project. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Provide technical input to internal teams and external design consultants Manage sections of design and engineering work, ensuring compliance with standards Review and check design deliverables to maintain quality and accuracy Carry out network design calculations, including pipeline sizing and pressure analysis Produce clear technical reports and contribute to feasibility and concept studies Lead and participate in design meetings and risk workshops What we are looking for 5+ years' experience in gas transmission or distribution network deign Strong knowledge of pipeline and above-ground installation design Familiarity with design software (GIS, CAD) and analytical tools (e.g. Synergi Gas) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Logical, analytical problem-solver with solid decision-making ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP HANA knowledge desirable Qualifications & Requirements Degree-level education
