Job Title: Industrial Door Engineer Reports to: Head of Fire and Security Employment Type: Full-time Salary: £28K-£35K DOE Role Overview The Industrial Door Engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of a variety of industrial and commercial door systems. Working to recognised industry standards, safety legislation, and client requirements, this role ensures doors operate efficiently, safely, and reliably to support business operations. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and test a variety of door systems, including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, high-speed doors, sliding doors, and folding doors. Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and relevant standards (e.g., BS EN 12453, BS EN 12635). Diagnose and repair faults in motors, control systems, safety devices, and mechanical components. Carry out adjustments and calibrations to ensure proper alignment and smooth functionality. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments, ensuring all works comply with health and safety regulations. Accurately complete service reports, job sheets, and parts requisitions.
