*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Door Engineer to join our small dynamic team Working on Military installations across the south west.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of industrial door systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

*Responsibilities*

* Design and develop industrial door systems tailored to client requirements. * Oversee the installation process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. * Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on existing door systems including aircraft hanger doors to ensure optimal functionality. * Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide expert recommendations on door solutions. * Troubleshoot technical issues related to door operation and implement effective solutions promptly. * Maintain accurate documentation of projects, including design specifications, installation procedures, and maintenance records. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in door technology to enhance service offerings.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience as an Industrial Door Engineer or in a similar engineering role. * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles related to door technology. * Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. * Proficient in using CAD software for designing door systems (experience with specific software is a plus), not essential. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. * Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to industrial environments is essential. * A relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with significant practical experience.

Security clearance desired and will be required to gain access to MOD sites.
