Infrastructure Engineer

My client, an innovative, well-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team of specialist design engineers, near the diverse, lively Capital City of London.
Essential Criteria:
* A Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant qualification) * Demonstrable experience of working in an infrastructure role * Experience of having worked in consultancy, specifically in a design-based role * Excellent working knowledge of flood risk and drainage design, including experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments and producing Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) * Extensive knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S38, S278, S104, etc.) and their applications * Competent in the use of the relevant software packages, including XP Solutions (MicroDrainage) and Civils3D
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Civil Infrastructure Engineer to possess the following:
* Excellent teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work on own initiative * Good technical skills, with a tendency toward having an analytical mindset * Outstanding standard of written English, particularly when applied to report writing
In your varied role of Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will join an already-established team of design experts, with a view to developing and refining your knowledge and skills as you progress through your career within the company. The role will involve a range of exciting responsibilities, including:
* Producing flood risk and drainage strategies, authoring Flood Risk Assessments, and producing adoptable drainage designs * Contributing to a range of infrastructure projects * Authoring, reviewing, and refining technical reports and drawings, and producing calculations * Working collaboratively with individuals and teams across a variety of other disciplines
