Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Enterprise Infrastructure Services team.

This role will be based in our London office. Please only apply if you have the right to work in UK.

Responsibilities

The role will report to the Senior Director, Datacentre Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

To deliver, support and troubleshoot the Groupe IT platforms whilst working effectively with your colleagues and the wider business within an ITIL framework. Act as an escalation for the support teams both in the UK and internationally. To proactively support the installation, configuration and monitoring of the environment to ensure the platform remains available, stable and optimally maintained, in line with SLA and KPIs.

  • Design, install, configure and maintain existing and new infrastructure platforms and any appropriate dependencies to the highest standards possible and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the project teams, ensuring work packages are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Propose technically and commercially sound recommendations to aid the continuous improvement of the environment.
  • Ensure requests and incidents are managed effectively and within SLA.
  • Manage multiple tasks, incidents and project work effectively under pressure and within given deadlines.
  • Ensure documentation is created and accurately maintained following Groupe standards, to ensure it remains relevant and always up to date.

Qualifications

Key Competencies:

Knowledge Requirements: You will be expected to have a strong working knowledge of and background in the following technologies, gained over several years in current/previous IT roles.

  • Windows Server administration and management 2022 – 2025 (Microsoft advanced level certification required)
  • Windows 2025 Hyper-V virtualisation and clustering (Microsoft advanced/architect level certification required)
  • VMWare vSphere/vCenter management
  • Linux server administration (RedHat/SLES)
  • Enterprise Server/Storage hardware configuration (Dell/HP)
  • TCP/IP networking fundamentals (addressing, routing, DNS)
  • Ethernet and Fibre network and storage cabling/patching
  • Enterprise Backup and DR technologies (Veeam)
  • ISO27001 ISMS experience desirable

Skill Requirements You will be expected to have the ability to:

  • Provide technical leadership within a managed project framework across multiple IT projects
  • Produce clear and effective documentation of new system deployments
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks, issues and requests concurrently, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed time scales
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and senior management to ensure issues are escalated appropriately
  • Respond to issues in a controlled and professional manner
  • Pro-actively and effectively share technical knowledge with colleagues

  • Act discreetly when around, or having access to, sensitive or confidential information
  • Act as a role model to the IT support teams and junior colleagues
  • Follow all company and IT policies and procedures

Additional Information

We offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Our main office is located at the iconic Television Centre (TVC) at White City, London.
