What you will be doing:

As a member of the Instrumentation team, your key accountabilities, whilst not exhaustive, will include:

  1. Maintenance and repair of vacuum furnaces and hot creep form press controllers.
  2. Interpreting OEM drawings to diagnose and solve problems.
  3. Knowledge of control systems associated with vacuum furnaces and heat treatment ovens.
  4. Adherence to AMS2750E heat treatment standards to NADCAP standards.
  5. Calibration of all control instrumentation, pressure gauges, direct indicating gauges, transducers, and vacuum systems.
  6. Documentation control via Gauge Insite.
  7. Understanding of Eurotherm instruments.
  8. Working within a small, multi-disciplined team.
  9. Flexibility to undertake other tasks when required.
  10. Willingness to learn new skills and processes.
  11. Awareness of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
