OverviewJoin Our IT Team at The Compleat Food Group! We have a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd Line IT Engineer to join our busy and brilliant IT team. We’re looking for someone who can take the lead in proactively monitoring and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring it consistently performs at the highest level in line with our Service Level Agreements. You’ll also be the trusted escalation point for our 1st and 2nd line teams, driving solutions and keeping our systems running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesReceive escalated incidents from the Service Desk and prioritise workload to ensure all incidents are resolved within SLAWork within a team of 3rd Line IT Engineers to ensure Group wide incident resolution SLAs are metSupport the wider IT team in Problem Management by performing root cause analysis tasks as directed by the Head of IT OperationsWork with third parties to resolve core infrastructure issues resulting in system inefficiencies or service interruptionsProvide time and expertise to support the delivery of projects on budget, on time and to the right qualityCommunicate updates and pertinent information to the Customer group as requiredForm part of the Out of Hours team taking turns on a rota based process to act as an escalation point for out of hours callsBe an active participant in Service Improvement by proactively offering suggestions to improve the Customer ExperienceTravelling between sites with occasional overnight stays is required to fulfil duties described within this documentAttend such necessary training sessions (internal and external) as requested in order to be sufficiently equipped to perform tasksAdherence to all company policiesSkills and ExperienceIn-depth experience in configuring and managing Microsoft Intune is essential, preferably with Apple devicesIn-depth understanding and experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Microsoft365 and network infrastructuresDetailed working knowledge of Microsoft HyperV virtualisation, SQL Server, VPNs, WANs and cloud-based technologies including Microsoft AzureBroad experience of acting as a Point of Contact for all service related questionsDemonstrate opening questioning, faulting finding, critical thinking and problem solving skillsExperience of working as part of a geographically diverse IT functionAble to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams including incident resolution and project workExcellent verbal and written communication skillsQualificationsA Level qualifications or equivalent are essentialMicrosoft certification or equivalent is desirableFull UK driving licence is essentialBenefits33 Days annual leave (With option to buy more)2 Employee Volunteering Days per yearOnline and High-street retailer discount schemeEmployee well-being and community support groupsInformal and Formal training opportunities with personalised online LMS platformCharity Initiatives and Team events24/7 Access to Grocery Aid (Free Financial, Emotional and Practical Support)Physical Wellbeing Benefits – Free on demand exercise hub and various gym discountsOnline Wellbeing benefitsFree Financial wellbeing – mortgage calculators, budget tools, financial aid toolsHoliday Discounts via Online Retail DiscountThe Compleat Food Group fosters an inclusive, respectful culture where everyone feels safe, supported, and valued.
