IT Analyst / IT Engineer / Stoke on Trent office / Field work, nationwide UK
Looking for an experienced, technical, hands on IT Analyst with strong engineering skills who is happy to work in the office and travel across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an amazing client who is growing. You will assist them on their journey by helping with acquisitions, a seamless IT infrastructure, helping with office refits, refurbs so a varied and exciting role. You will have strong IT infrastructure support, networking experience with LAN/WAN, Cisco switches, firewalls and wireless tech.
You will join a small team maintaining and deploying network, hardware, and AV systems across UK offices. This would suit a strong communicator, who likes working in a team collaboratively but also very capable of working independently, who is proactive and likes variety.
Responsibilities
- Assist acquisitions and contribute to a seamless IT infrastructure during office refits and refurbishments.
- Provide strong IT infrastructure support and networking across LAN/WAN environments.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware including MFDs, wireless access points, Cisco switches, firewalls, and AV systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimise network performance; implement standards and support firewall setups and network segmentation.
- Maintain and deploy network, hardware, and AV systems across UK offices as part of a small team.
- Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively within a team, and work independently when needed.
- Travel to client sites across the UK as required; participate in field work and office presence in Stoke-on-Trent.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Strong IT infrastructure support experience with networking (LAN/WAN), Cisco switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Willingness to travel nationwide; comfortable with field work and office-based duties.
- Must be able to drive and have your own vehicle; driving licence mandatory.
- Live close to the Stoke-on-Trent offices or within reasonable commuting distance.
Remuneration & Logistics
Nationwide travel – expenses for petrol, overnight stays, and meals are covered by the client.
