About the Role: Are you an IT professional looking to move out from behind the desk and take your career to the next level? Were looking for an IT Field Engineer to join a dynamic team, providing on-site support, installations, and maintenance across Cornwall. Key Responsibilities: Visit client sites across Cornwall to provide IT support and troubleshooting.
Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software (servers, PCs, printers, networking devices).
Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows environments.
Carry out basic networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VLANs).
Keep accurate records of all work and customer interactions.
Collaborate with the Plymouth-based Support Desk on escalated issues.
Provide excellent customer service, offering guidance and reassurance where needed.
Participate in training and assist in onboarding new team members.
Undertake other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Who Were Looking For: Experience in IT support (desk-based or field).
Knowledge of Microsoft environments; networking experience is advantageous (training provided).
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Cornwall.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organised, proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused.
